If you have a spot or area on your skin that is growing, changing, bleeding, new, inflamed, or a spot that has changed in size, shape, and/or color, it is best to have an in-person examination by one of our board-certified dermatologists.

This depends on your skin type and your dermatologic conditions. At Embrace Dermatology, we will be happy to conduct a skin care consultation to create an individualized skin care routine for you!
You are never too young or old to start routine skin checks, which are generally performed annually. If your have a history of skin cancer, they should be performed more frequently.
Bring a valid insurance card, photo ID, and a method of payment for co-pays per your insurance. Should your insurance company require a referral, please call your primary physician to obtain a referral before your appointment. If we do not have a referral your visit may be rescheduled.
